Bikestation DC is one of many Bikestations popping up across the U.S. DC’s was created by Mobis Transportation. This is the first east cost location for Mobis and offers bike parking, rental, repair, sales, and a member’s area with changing/locker rooms in a simple modern structure adjacent to Union Station.

Stowe Mountain Resort is the first North American ski resort to receive the Audubon Sustainable Community Certification. The resort was granted the award for their local food sourcing (83% of food), embracing Vermont’s rural heritage, serious energy conservation, creative employee ride share program, and eleven other awesome attributes. Go Stowe!

This is pretty cool. Nike just announced that the official 2010 South Africa World Cup jerseys will be made from 8 recycled Plastic Bottles. Nice little step towards sustainability from the sportswear uberbrand.
